Breast Augmentation Gallery
The following report was submitted by a patient, describing her personal experience:

Stats:
Age: 35 (5 children - all breastfed)
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 140 lbs.
Size: Pre-op 36 AAA, post-op 36 C
Implants: McGhan, textured, round 420cc
Approach: Submuscular placement, transax incision
Surgeon: Dr. David Metzner in New Orleans
The photos in the purple and blue tops were taken without a bra. With a bra underneath, I can easily look a full cup size larger. I use these tops to demonstrate how, in the right clothing, a C cup can look larger, if desired. (Note: many women I know who went to just a C cup are disappointed and say their breasts are “lost” in clothing. That may be true in some loose fitting styles, but certainly not all clothes. I just wanted to demo that you can still get that “big” look with a C in the right clothes, if you want it.) The swimsuit (at right) has no padding, only a soft liner. It was the only “before” suit that still fits “after”!
I included flexing photos to demonstrate what happens when implants are placed under muscle and the muscles are exercised. Before surgery I read a lot of horror stories about how “weird” it looked to be working out with unders, but have not found this to be the case for me. As you can see, even in the nude flexing photo (and who works out like that?) the distortion isn’t that bad. The photo on the fly machine was at the maximum effort point, and even then the implants just move a little down and to the outside. In a tight sports bra, particularly one of a solid color, this really isn’t that noticeable. My husband has watched carefully as I’ve worked out at a gym and he said it didn’t look noticeable at all, and no one was looking or staring.
Photographs are for illustrative purposes only. Individual results vary. No prediction of outcome is implied. Individual healing characteristics and unexpected complications can affect the outcome of any surgery.
