Daniel P. McCauliffe, M.D., Board Certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine
Dr. McCauliffe has over 20 years experience in cosmetic, medical and surgical dermatology. Dr. McCauliffe grew up in this area. He graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and Albany Medical College. He then completed a three-year training program in internal medicine. After serving two years in the Air Force, he completed specialty training in dermatology, including both a dermatology residency and an immunodermatology research fellowship at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. McCauliffe joined the faculty of the Dermatology Department at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill providing patient care and conducting research. He was appointed Director of the Dermatology Clinics at the University, responsible for training young physicians to become dermatologists. He has written over 75 scientific publications. While his focus now is on his private practice in Vermont, Dr. McCauliffe remains active in teaching as an Adjunct Professor of Dermatology at the University of North Carolina, which he visits monthly during the academic year.
In 2000, Dr. McCauliffe returned “home” and founded the Rutland Skin Center. He is devoted to bringing state-of-the art medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologic treatments to patients in Vermont, New Hampshire and upstate New York. At The Vermont Center for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology in Manchester he provides aesthetic dermatology services that include Botox, Dysport, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, and Radiesse treatments. Dr. McCauliffe also offers Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) photorejuvenation treatments to remove age spots, blood vessels and other skin imperfections, as well as for permanent hair reduction.

Victoria R. Cavalli, M.D., Board Certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine
A native of Vermont, Dr. Cavalli studied chemistry at Wellesley College and Brown University before attending medical school at the University of Vermont. She completed a rigorous Internal Medicine internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh, an intensive dermatology residency in New York City at SUNY Health Sciences Center, and was awarded a prestigious research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Dermatology where she studied the chemistry of skin enzymes and inflammation. After many years of training, Dr. Cavalli moved back to New England to practice.
Dr. Cavalli has been happily working in the Bennington area since 1997 providing high quality medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She specializes in skin cancer and cosmetic dermatology and in 2003 launched Dermatology of the Berkshires, P.C. This new practice allows for more aesthetic treatments including anti-aging chemical peels, intense pulsed light (IPL) photo rejuvenation for brown spots, red vessels and hair removal, YAG laser treatments for red blood vessels, sclerotherapy for leg veins, as well as fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse and collagen for facial volume loss, and Botox and Dysport treatments.
In addition, Dr. Cavalli has used her training in cosmetic dermatology and advanced chemistry to find the most effective scientifically proven cosmeceuticals to combat photoaging. Dr. Cavalli’s age-defying products include sunscreens, vitamin C antioxidants, retinoids and hydroxy acid treatments. Anti-aging cosmeceuticals are available in our office in Manchester.
At The Vermont Center for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, Dr. Cavalli provides many of the cosmetic procedures mentioned above. Removal of skin tags, milial cysts, benign growths and keratoses are also very popular.
Dr. Cavalli is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Medical Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society. As she values lifelong learning, Dr. Cavalli is an avid reader of the current dermatology literature and regularly attends state of the art dermatology conferences around the country.

Ginger Ritchie, Patient Coordinator
Ginger takes great pride in making sure that every patient is completely satisfied with each encounter they have with our office. With her friendly personality and genuine concern, she provides our patients with the utmost care and knowledge so they are comfortable from the first phone contact through every step in their plastic surgery process.
Ginger brings to The Vermont Center for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology over 20 years experience in customer service. She brings a warm smile and believes in providing every service needed to make your plastic surgery experience a pleasurable one. Her supportive attitude and good listening skills ensure that patients feel reassured and important.

Erin Schreiner, Certified Laser Professional, Licensed Electrologist and Esthetician
Erin has over 15 years of experience in the skin care profession. She graduated from the Vermont College of Cosmetology in Williston, VT and from the Electrology Institute of New England in Woburn, MA. Erin had extensive laser training in central Massachusetts and became certified as a Laser Professional through the Allied Health Association. She participates in continuing education seminars and attends laser trade shows to keep up-to-date on technology in the industry.
Erin specializes in laser treatments that stimulate collagen to provide younger, healthier looking skin. She also offers laser treatments that treat telangiectasia (broken capillaries and spider veins) and unwanted hair. She performs microdermabrasion and facial peels with proven anti-aging benefits. Since coming to The Vermont Center for Plastic Surgery and Dermatology, Erin has taken a personal interest in cosmetic plastic surgery and participates in providing help, support and encouragement to our patients from their first call to their final result.
